Moorooka Heights House
Perched on a sloped block with a bird's-eye view of Brisbane city spanning from Mount Coot-tha to Toohey Forest, the Moorooka Heights House feels wonderfully elevated.
Lofty ceilings and sunshine streaming in the full-height windows further contributes to the bright and airy aesthetic. For this new build home we worked within the form designed by Ever Architecture Studio. With hints of Australian vernacular architecture, the interior is simultaneously robust and timeless, a suitable environment in which a young family can live, work and play. In subtle ways, the interior references the external view with a natural palette of muted greens and earthy tones. Colour and texture invite your gaze inwards while metallic accents create a mood of understated sophistication.
